[how]zit! My name is Joe…Joe.blogs and I’m here to share my stories about another Joe…but he’s not your average Joe.
Joe grew up feeling very different to the other children in the playground…
He didn’t realise he was different, he was just treated differently by the others….
He was shy and introverted with an amazing creative mind which helped him deal with the outside world.
He was often shouted at by other children for staring, but didn’t realise why. He was just looking at them very deeply as though it was normal.
He struggled to explain why he did stare and the deep feelings he felt when doing so.
He never saw himself as different and assumed everyone else was the same…
He struggled to make friends, or at least friends who provided him with some meaning…
Joe was called moody
Quiet people make other people uncomfortable. I can’t remember how many times people asked me what’s wrong, why are’nt you smiling? Smile!! The more someone told me to smile the less I wanted to.
I was perfectly comfortable to sit back and take in my surroundings. If I felt comfortable in the space I would open up immediately BUT if I wasn’t I would go deeper into my shell.
So please tune in weekly on a Sunday to find out more about Joe and how he became to realise that he wasn’t just an AVERAGE JOE.
Until next time, remember DON’T be AVERAGE….
Regards,
Joe. Blogs
